The 100 drum kits in the Drumit Five are stored in a file named drumit.dkit that is located in the top of the DrumitFive's file system. When you create your own kits that you do not want to loose, it is a good idea to make a backup of this file.
Using DSoundTool you can view the contents of this file, and convert it to a text format. This enables you to restore individual drum kits in your module, or send your drum kit's settings to other people. Note that DSoundTool makes it possible for you to can see the settings, but if you want to restore a kit, you have to do this yourself, using the DrumIt Five module's user interface.
